Logistics & Trade Comp Specialist

Establish or monitor specific supply chain-based performance measurement systems
Create policies or procedures for logistics activities
Train SCM personnel in roles and responsibilities regarding logistics strategies
Maintain metrics, reports, process documentation, customer service logs or training or safety records
Implement specific project requirements, such as internal reporting or customized transportation metrics
Resolve problems concerning transportation, logistics systems, imports or exports or project issues
Participate in carrier management processes, such as selection, qualification or performance valuation
Monitor product import or export processes to ensure compliance with regulatory or legal requirements
Ensure carrier compliance with company policies or procedures for product transit or delivery
Design models for use in evaluating logistics programs or services
Plan / Implement improvements to internal or external logistics systems or processes
Analyze the finance impact of all logistics activities, such as routing, shipping modes, product volumes or mixes or carriers.
Analyze all aspects of logistics to determine the most cost-effective or efficient means of transporting products.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science
Master’s Degree in Information Systems or Masters in Computer Science (strongly preferred) - Keep
Knowledge of advance SQL and Predictive Analytics platforms
hands – on experience in data analysis, SQL programming, advance analytics
Excellent communication and data presentation skills
Able to solve complex business problems
Working knowledge of data visualization tools and principals.
